The brief
The client wanted an outdoor space that was both attractive and practical for family living. The main requirement was to improve the front garden appearance, redesign the main garden layout, create a safe play zone for children, and define the boundary using plants to make the space feel greener, softer and more enclosed.
Our approach
We approached the design by balancing aesthetics, safety and usability. The garden layout was planned to create clear zones for play, relaxation and planting. A secure and child-friendly play area with a swing was included to support everyday family use. The front garden was elevated with improved styling and planting, while the boundary was enhanced with layered greenery to create a natural edge and a more cohesive outdoor setting.
The outcome
The final design transformed the property’s outdoor areas into a more inviting and functional family garden. The front garden gained a stronger visual presence, the children’s play area added everyday value, and the planted boundaries helped define the space beautifully while improving privacy and softness throughout the garden.
